SCHNAUBLE AUTOMOTIVE WARRANTY

30-day ride guarantee.
If you feel that you have not received value and benefit from the service or repair we have performed or if we have not improved the performance, ride and dependability of your vehicle, we will; 1) redo the work, 2) reduce the charges or, 3) refund your money. We want you, our customer, to know that you have found an automotive service and repair facility that looks after your interests.

We provide a minimum 3 year or 36,000 mile warranty on parts and labor for Major Components which include; engine, transmission, drive train, water pump, fuel pump, power steering pump, power steering rack and brake hydraulic repairs when our new or remanufactured parts are used. Oil or fluid leaks are covered for 12 months or 12,000 miles parts and labor, for the seal, part or gasket that was replaced only. Any other leak will have to be addressed as a separate issue.Used parts are covered by a 60 day part and labor warranty only, no exceptions.

Clutch disc, pressure plate and hydraulic assemblies are cover for 12 months or 12000 miles parts and labor.

Alternators and starters have either a 3 year or lifetime warranty, depending upon which unit was purchased. Labor is covered for 3 years or 36,000 miles for either.

Brake pads and shoes have a Lifetime warranty on the friction material only as long as Adaptive One pads and True Stop shoes are used with new hardware, rotor or drum resurfacing or replacement and a brake fluid flush is performed or has been done within the last 12,000 miles (proof of flush required). Brake pad replacement labor is covered for 3 years or 36,000 miles. The customer is responsible for any additional parts and/or labor required to bring brakes up to proper operating condition. A brake squeal will not be covered beyond 12,000 miles. Brake pad or shoe failure due to defective hydraulic parts, hardware or misuse will not be covered.

Exhaust system components, pipes and muffler, are covered for 12 months or 12,000 miles parts and labor. Catalytic convertors are covered for 2 years or 24,000 miles parts and labor. Customer must present copy of original receipt.

Shocks and struts have a lifetime warranty on the parts only. Labor is covered for 3 years or 36,000 miles. Chassis and steering components are covered for 3 years or 36,000 mile parts and labor.

Check engine light labor is covered for the code that was present at original diagnosis. A check engine light repair is considered completed after the readiness monitor for that code has reset. If the check engine light comes on at a later date and a different code is stored in memory, labor will be charged to the customer for the diagnosis if they choose to have the code diagnosed. Labor warranty on a check engine light is 12 months or 12,000 miles.

Headlight reconditioning, wiper blades and light bulbs are covered for 6 months or 6,000 miles parts and labor.

Air conditioning, cooling system, belts, hoses and heater repairs are covered for 12 months or 12,000 miles parts and labor. Radiators have a lifetime warranty on part only.

All electrical or computer related components, such as switches, sensors, computers and relays etc… have a 12 month or 12,000 mile parts and labor warranty.

Vehicle manufacturer installed parts have a 12 month or 12,000 mile parts and labor warranty. They will be noted on repair order as MPI (Manufacturer Part Installed).

Tires are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty only. Tire balance is covered for 6 month or 6,000 miles.

All claims must be processed at Schnauble Automotive Inc. If you are more than 25 miles from Schnauble Automotive and there is a problem with a repair that is under warranty, you must first call us at 410-876-8134 and we’ll arrange to have the vehicle repaired or towed at our discretion. No refunds or credits for unauthorized warranty repairs.
